GEO Operations

Connect questions, content, data and execution — every month.

Not a monthly report. The findings become pages, product data, site changes and records you can check.

The monthly rhythm

  1. Week 1Re-measure last month’s questions and flag changesObservation log
  2. Weeks 2–3Fix data and pages in priority orderChange record
  3. Week 4Review: what changed, what we observed, what is nextReview report

Quotas come from the product data (the quota field in products.json) — the same source as the pricing page and the three-tier table. The panel shows how the work is organised: no client data, and no mention-rate, ranking or sales metrics.

GEO operations do five things each month: brand facts, buying questions and content, website technical work, external trust, and measurement review. Fixed monitoring surfaces are ChatGPT / Google AI Mode / Perplexity; Google AI Overviews is supplementary observation only, recorded separately and never merged with AI Mode into one series. The three tiers differ by quota: Maintain $1,500/mo (existing clients only), Category Growth $3,000/mo (our recommended tier), and Growth Partner $5,000/mo. Initial term is three months. We commit to what is done and measured each month — not to algorithmic placement or sales.

Five things every month

What GEO operations actually consists of

  1. Brand facts

Make brand, product and policy facts consistent — the site, the marketplaces and AI answers all say the same thing.

  2. Buying questions & content

Topics driven by real purchase intent: buying guides, comparison pages, FAQs and substantive page rework.

  3. Website technical

Structured data, crawling and indexing, page performance, mobile and form paths — continuous small fixes.

  4. External trust

Planning, contacting and following up third-party channels. These are actions; placement, links and model citation are not guaranteed.

  5. Measurement & review

Weekly sampling, monthly roll-up. AI mentions, site visits and attributed orders reported separately, with a monthly review of what comes next.

Sampling example: 60 questions × 3 surfaces × weekly. A four-week month is roughly 720 sampled answers; a month with five sampling weeks is roughly 900. This is an example, not a guaranteed monthly total. Every sample records date, question version, surface, region, language and raw evidence.

The Maintain tier is available only to clients who have completed a website project or the paid diagnostic.

Evidence boundaries

What each number does and does not tell you

AI mentions

Appearing in a sampled answer. It shows visibility, not clicks, and certainly not orders.

Site visits

Visits arriving from AI surfaces. Attribution depends on referrer signals, and some surfaces send none — so this is a floor, not a total.

Attributed orders

Orders counted under the signed attribution rules. It is a billing definition, not causal incrementality.

Not measurable

Data we cannot obtain is recorded as not measurable, never as zero — a zero would read as a decline.

Supplier version

Factories and B2B suppliers use the same tier pricing

Pricing matches the brand tiers, but product-data units are mapped one-to-one to agreed product families and capability units before signing. B2B is delivered as supplier profiles, sourcing intent and inquiry paths, and does not default to Shopify shopping discovery. The sales-based performance billing does not automatically apply to B2B inquiries or Amazon orders.

A new site build and full certification verification are never quietly folded into the monthly fee; those work units are itemized in the quote.

Optional

Performance-based pricing

$2,000/mo base + 8% of attributable net sales; bonus capped at $3,000/mo (total $2,000–$5,000/mo)

Formula examples only — not a sales forecast. The cap applies to the bonus, not the total.

$10,000$2,800

Total service fee ranges $2,000–$5,000 per month.

  • The client grants read-only access to order and refund data

  • Initial term of 3 months

  • Settlement lags 30 days to allow for refunds

  • Attributed orders are a billing rule, not causal incrementality

  • The cap applies to the bonus, not the total fee. The base fee, bonus ceiling and total range are all shown together.

  • Until the detailed schedule is signed, only an enquiry entry point is shown — nothing is billed or charged automatically

  • Order attribution can be used for agreed settlement, but is never presented as measuring the full effect of GEO work

Apply for performance-based work

Billing starts only after the attribution schedule is signed. This site does not run a commission settlement system and never bills or charges automatically.

Common terms and definitions

  • 1 brand / 1 domain / 1 primary language; U.S. market, English.

  • Weekly baseline sampling with a monthly roll-up. Platform outages and model version changes are recorded separately.

  • 1 content asset = one primary article, buying guide, comparison page, FAQ or substantive page rework addressing a single purchase intent. Splitting one piece into several posts does not count as multiple assets.

  • The SKU figure is the priority data-management scope. It is not guaranteed shopping exposure, and it does not mean every SKU is rewritten each month.

  • Outreach means planning, contacting and following up. It does not guarantee placement, links, or citation by a model.

  • AI mention ≠ product-card display ≠ attributed order ≠ causal incremental sales. These are reported separately.

  • Up to 2 rounds of revision per normal change. Ad spend and managed advertising are billed separately.

  • The factory / B2B supplier version uses the same tier pricing, but product-data units are mapped one-to-one to agreed product families and capability units before signing. A new site build and full certification verification are not quietly folded into the monthly fee.

  • B2B is delivered as supplier profiles, sourcing intent and inquiry paths, and does not default to Shopify shopping discovery. The 8% sales-based billing in this version does not automatically apply to B2B inquiries or Amazon orders.

  • For Amazon-heavy clients we first verify listing authorization and available monitoring. Rufus is a paid add-on; we do not push an unnecessary standalone site.

  • AI Overviews and AI Mode are recorded separately. Fixed monitoring uses Google AI Mode; the two surfaces are not merged into one comparable series.

  • Every sample records date, question version, platform/surface, region, language, method and raw evidence. Data that cannot be obtained is recorded as not measurable, never as zero.
